With just a few precious hours of Lost left before the Island drama fades to (Man in) Black on May 23, this week’s Entertainment Weekly pays tribute to the ABC show with Lost: The Complete Viewer’s Guide, a special package with everything you need to know to get ready for the epic finale. First up, an in-depth preview of the final episode. Lost comes back Feb. 2 with the season six premiere on ABC. But meanwhile fans can break out the Dharma beer to celebrate six recap specials that will be airing on DirecTV’s 101 Network starting Dec. 26.

The specials, which will air commercial free, aired previously on ABC before past season premieres and finales and haven’t been broadcast since those original ABC airings. But the DirecTV versions will offer interstitial elements not seen on TV before – such as DVD extras (such as unaired scenes) and music videos created with the show.

The 101 Network is available to all of DirecTV’s 18.3 million subscribers.

How about LOST? Its cast is made up of veteran actors and rookie actors alike. They are all talented. They can all have a long career in Hollywood. Sure, several actors (and their characters) stand out, such as Michael Emerson, Terry O’Quinn, Henry Ian Cusick, Elizabeth Mitchell, Josh Holloway, Yunjin Kim, Matthew Fox, Jorge Garcia, and Naveen Andrews. But overall, the diversity and the collective and individual talent of the Lost cast makes it a great ensemble. —LadySolitaire
