Guess Which “Dead” Losties Will Be Back!

“In the rules of Lost…is anyone really dead?”

Dominic Monaghan just asked this quintessential Lost Q as I chatted him up on the Chuck set (he’s guest starring in February), and I know you many of you fans are dying to know:

Will any of the “dead” Losties be back for season five?

A recent promo sure seemed to show Jack’s creepy daddy Christian (John Terry) mingling among the Left Behinders. So…will we see him again? What about Claire (Emilie de Ravin)? And fan favorite Charlie (Dominic)?

I’ve got the word from Lost boss Damon Lindelof himself on the status of Christian, as well as exclusive insight from Dom and inside sources on Claire and Charlie’s whereabouts…

Stars to line up for first glimpse of ‘Believe’

A star-studded guest list of VIPs was released Wednesday detailing the colorful and high-profile personalities expected to attend the premiere of “Criss Angel Believe” on Friday.

The sixth Vegas Cirque du Soleil show will be unveiled Halloween night during an extravagant and appropriately spooky gala event.

Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté will be in town to mark the occasion with Angel and the show’s co-writer and director, Serge Denoncourt.

Among their guests will be Evangeline Lilly and Dominic Monaghan from ABC’s “Lost,” Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt, stars of E!’s “The Girls Next Door,” Christina Hendricks from AMC’s “Mad Men,” and Neil Patrick Harris from CBS’s “How I Met Your Mother” (and of “Doogie Howser, M.D.” fame).

Exclusive: ‘Chuck’ Finds ‘Lost’ Boy Monaghan

In what marks his first major TV gig since Lost, Dominic Monaghan has signed on to guest-star on NBC’s Chuck as — stop me if this sounds familiar — a free-spirited British rock star targeted for death by a shadowy group of evildoers. And the similarities to his Lost alter ego Charlie don’t end there. Well, actually, yes, they do. “This is a very, very different kind of character,” insists executive producer Josh Schwartz of Monaghan’s metalhead, who makes an in-store appearance at Buy More and ends up getting entangled in one of Chuck’s spy games. “He’s a lunatic in the best sense of the word. And there’s no heroin [addiction].” Monaghan’s participation is only half the Feb. 2 episode’s sell: It also will air partly in 3-D, piggybacking on NBC’s 3-D Super Bowl stunt. (The network will broadcast the big game the night before.) Aside from the cool factor of seeing himself in 3-D, what drew Monaghan to the role? Did he have any hesitation about channeling someone who, at least on paper, so closely resembles Charlie? And might his tube return be the precursor to another Lost comeback? Hmmm….Sounds like the set-up to an exclusive Q&A with Dominic Monaghan. Scratch that. It is the set-up to an exclusive Q&A with Dominic Monaghan.

Monaghan cast in Economic Thriller

By Gregg Goldstein

NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) – Just in time for the next depression, Dominic Monaghan and Freddy Rodriguez will star in a horror thriller offering one potential solution to our economic problems.

Set in 2100, “Fortuna” envisions an Earth where a collapsed economy and climate crises have eliminated the middle class, leaving a few very wealthy and the teeming masses in severe poverty. To give hope and avoid revolt, the elite create Fortuna, a mysterious game where one in a thousand wins a big payday and joins the upper classes. But their hidden goal to “reduce poverty” by 30% over 50 years comes with a deadly price tag.

Monaghan, Rodriguez and “Fortuna” writer-director Barthelemy Grossmann will play desperate men who play the game in a nearby tower, despite apprehensions that none of its contestants are ever seen again. The privately financed film begins a six-week shoot in Bulgaria next month.

Monaghan is best known for his roles in the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy and ABC’s “Lost.” Former “Six Feet Under” star Rodriguez will next be seen in the December 12 release “Nothing Like the Holidays.”
