ABC has just confirmed that Season 5 will begin January 21st at 8 PM Eastern. The recap show will air at 8, followed by the first episode of Season 5 at 9, then the 2nd episode at 10. Then every episode after will air at 9PM on Wednesdays, just like it did during Season 2.
So, we’re getting pretty much 3 hours straight of LOST.
ABC ran another promo last night during Election 2008 coverage, showing that LOST will premiere sometime in January. Not February as previously stated. It will be a 2 hour event, with a recap show followed by the 1 hour premiere of Season 5.
So it looks like we only have about 2 months till LOST is back. Update those calendars.
