I just watched all the seasons of LOST for the first time ever on Netflix. It took me a few months. It was hands down – the best show I have ever seen in my life. I thought it was brilliant, and though I’m still trying to work out all the details – I loved every minute of it including the ending which I thought was perfect. To respond to Fiona, I think they were all LOST souls – that they did die physically during the crash, but that their souls had to reach a certain level of understanding to move on. So they had to spend time on the island until they learned to let go, learned to conquer their fears and above all learned the higest level of love – which is sacrificing your life for someone. That’s a theme throughout the series. I loved the various symbolism in the show particularly religious – I counted symbols from Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism – I thought that was a billiant way to incorporate all religious beliefs and send the message that it doesn’t matter what religion you are, we are all equal. Best thing ever put on TV. I am planning to rewatch the whole show very soon. Hoping Fringe will be just as good.

I’ve just watched all 6 series of Lost. I’m a bit confused. Did they all die at the time of the plane crash and this was all some sort of dream or did they really go through all the things that happened on the island?

Lost was great but the final awful. J. Bentham is the best character.
