The only i can say is “Click to read it or not” !

Sons of Anarchy star Katey Sagal hasn’t been seen on Lost since 2006, although last season it seemed her character had passed away when John Locke (Terry O’Quinn) paid a visit to the grave of his supposed late girlfriend, Helen Norwood. Well, Katey has just won herself a return trip to Hawaii to reprise the role — an opportunity Katey told me in July she was hoping for. Lost executive producer Carlton Cuse exclusively confirmed the news to me at the Sept. 13 Malibu Triathlon fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

Cuse, who biked in the event that raised over $1 million, spied another former cast member, Julie Bowen, among the other competitors and told me he’d also like to find a way to bring her back as Jack’s ex-wife, Sarah, in the upcoming final season. This came as exciting news to Julie. “Do it, Carlton!,” screamed the actress. “What’s stopping you?”

Now a series regular on the new ABC sitcom Modern Family, Bowen has already plotted out a return scenario in her head. “The last time you saw Sarah, she was pregnant with another man’s child,” she says. “But I would pitch that it was actually Jack’s baby and Jack’s found out and it’s somehow important to whatever is happening on the island.”

(By the way, I heard that what’s happening in season six is even more whacked-out than last season’s time jumping plot.)

Vampire Diaries’ Ian Somerhalder has already shot his return scene as Boone. Yay! The only former cast member Carlton wouldn’t discuss? Harold Perrineau (Michael). “I cannot yet confirm or deny whether he will be back on the show this year.”

Aw c’mon, Carlton. We know he will.

How do you feel about this latest round of returns? And who else do you hope to see before the series signs off in May 2010?

Rich in mythology and character development, and tantalizingly complex, Lost is not something to be watched passively. Throughout its five years, the ABC series has brilliantly weaved a human drama about plane-crash survivors on a mysterious island into a Byzantine tableau. We’ve witnessed smoke monsters and polar bears, unearthed a bygone scientific initiative, met the native inhabitants, and sidled up to a four-toed statue and a hydrogen bomb named Jughead. There have been flash-forwards, time travel, meditations on faith and destiny and redemption, literary and pop-culture references, and the occasional Latin phrase. What’s more, all of these bizarre components are all somehow connected. The show’s intricate and cryptic details have sent many a rabid fan to reference books and online chat groups in an effort to unlock the show’s secrets.

But even for those who aren’t content to parse through the myriad clues to find out what it all means, Lost, while epic in scope, is also intimate in its relationships. The overarching story can be incredibly dizzying and confounding as it travels around the world and through time and back again, but its writers (including executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof, or “Darlton,” as they’re called on message boards) take care to keep it rooted solidly in its characters—who, over the show’s duration, have grown as rich and deep as the mythology that surrounds them.

And this fifth season—which featured a return to the island for those who had been rescued and erratic time travel—was not only enthralling; it was satisfying. The energy intensified as the series began answering integral questions, ramping up acceleration and purpose as the show barreled toward its sixth and final year.
Leading fragrance expert Roja Dove describes it as a ‘landmark launch’ and even as it comes of age, it remains one of the most recognisable and wearable men’s fragrances there is. In recent times, the brand has become synonymous with the face (and body) of Lost star Josh Holloway and fans of a well-honed pair of pecs can rest assured that the hugely successful relationship will continue. Yep, he’s just renewed his contract with parent company Coty Prestige for a brand new ad campaign and as these behind-the-scenes shots show, the King of Cool is still in fine fettle. Enjoy!

The Lost cast is growing anxious to receive the first script of their final season, which goes into production late August. Before they get definitive answers, I asked them to come up with their own theories about how the mystery will get resolved.

Josh Holloway (Sawyer)
“There’s got to be a big blow-out war among everybody, and they’re all going to kill each other. There’ll be a few stragglers who have to make a choice, like the way ‘On the Beach’ ended, where the threat blows itself up and people will have to decide whether to stay or go.”

Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet)
“Like the end of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower, I think something will happen where we all go back to where we were. Juliet was never brought to the island. The plane never crashes. These people have never met. But because of the odd nature of time, we keep on getting drawn back into the same situation again. So basically, the ending is just another beginning.”

Dominic Monaghan (Charlie)
“The remaining cast decides whether to walk the path of good or bad, and an epic battle reigns. Evangeline Lilly puts in the performance of the year and wins a Golden Globe.”

Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond)
“The resurrection of the dead—with someone singing [Hawaiian farewell song] ‘Aloha ’Oe.’”

Daniel Dae Kim (Jin)
“We all settle into Dharmaville, build our own homes and develop the island into a tourist destination and make millions of dollars.”

When the challenge was introduced to cook dinner for some of the writers and creators of Lost, you seemed to be the only competitor familiar with the show. Why?
It’s on at a time at night when chefs are working. The first time I ever saw Lost, my son, Max, and I went to rent a video. I told him, “I heard that Lost is really good.” So we got the first season. We started watching it in the afternoon and before we knew it, it was time for bed.

So when you saw the array of island ingredients what did you think?
It was like Christmas on a table to me! I could live off of those foods every day—oysters, green mango, chicken, wild boar. I just thought, “Woo hoo. I’m going to cook everything!” So I imagined myself on a desert island. Then I thought, “What would John Locke do?” Then I opened up six coconuts and used the water to make a stock for risotto.

The master list of possible Emmy nominees was recently announced, and we at EW were thrilled to see that Josh Holloway, who has played Sawyer on Lost since its first season back in 2004, is among the mix of potential candidates for Best Supporting Actor. Season 5 was a great year for the 39-year-old star, whose wise-cracking, morally ambiguous con man character completed a series-long shift to full-fledged romantic hero as he led the castaways through time travel peril and fell in love with Jughead-banging Juliet (Elizabeth Mitchell). His grief as he watched his Dharma lady slip out of his hands and fall to her doom was one of the TV season’s most heartbreaking moments. While we hope Emmy remembers Holloway when it winnows its list of Best Supporting Actor players down to a final five, we decided to move ahead and give him an honor of our own by putting Holloway’s in this year’s Must Issue, EW’s annual summertime compendium of essential artists, performers, and assorted coolness.

In my previous trips to the Lost set in Hawaii, I have always found Holloway to be extremely cordial, charming, and curious about the mysteries of his show. He’s always demonstrated a deep concern that Sawyer remain emotionally credible and compelling without being melodramatic or over the top. And he takes Sawyer’s quips very seriously: When I visited at the end of Season 2, I remember watching him pace through the jungle, rehearsing his lines over and over again to himself, wanting to make sure Sawyer’s new Prince-esque nickname for Ben Linus (”The artist formerly known as Henry Gale”) tripped easily off his tongue. I encountered a slightly different Holloway at our Must Issue photo shoot in the Hollywood Hills late last month. He was as cool and engaging as always, but greatly enhanced by the glee and marvel (and exhaustion) of new fatherhood. (His daughter, Java, was born last April.) The guy certainly has a certain impact on ladies: At one point during the photo shoot, I spotted a member of our crew discretely pick up one of Holloway’s shirts and give it a good long sniff. Seriously.

I got a chance to chat with Holloway after the pics were snapped, which we present to you in the three parts. In Part 1, embedded below, the actor talks about Sawyer’s romance with Juliet and their tragic parting. In Parts 2 and 3, Holloway talks about his bloody confrontation with Matthew Fox’s Jack Shephard in the season finale and also discusses some theories with yours truly about where the castaways will finds themselves at the start of Lost’s sixth and final season.
