It’s been six months(!) since Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment announced the December 9th release – on both DVD and high-definition Blu-ray Disc – of Lost – The Complete 4th Season: The Expanded Experience. In the press release from the original announcement, a nice list of bonus material was mentioned. And in May we followed up to mention that additional extras would be included: “The Lost Flashbacks” (flashback sequences that didn’t air on the original TV broadcasts) and an “Oceanic Airlines Safety Guide”.
However, neither report was able to confirm whether the 13 installments of “Lost: Missing Pieces” would be included in the North American release of the 4th Season Set. As a reminder, these are “mobisodes”: short (1.5 to 3.5 minute-long) “webisodes” that were original distributed for viewing on a mobile phone (through Verizon), but they were later made available online (at ABC.com) as well. It has been said at various Lost fan sites that the foreign DVD releases, including the U.K. and in South America, were including the mobisodes. But for some reason the USA/Canadian information has not yet been clear on whether these are part of the sets!
Rodriguez Awakes Guests With Hotel Outburst
Actress Michelle Rodriguez’s fiery temper came close to causing more trouble for the star, after an alleged outburst at a Florida hotel sent sleeping guests into a frenzy.
The Girlfight star was reportedly staying at the Mayfair Hotel and Spa in Coconut Grove, Florida when she is said to have awoke guests at 9am, banging on the door and screaming at her room mate.
One guest tells the New York Daily News: “I woke up Sunday morning to the sounds of two women yelling, and one of them was smashing the door knocker very loudly. I peeked out and saw it was (Rodriguez). She’s screaming, ‘Open up, let me in, b**ch!’… If you don’t open up, you’re not getting your (pleasure toy) back.’”
A spokesperson for Rodriguez has refused to comment on the reports.
It isn’t the first time the 30-year-old former Lost actress has been criticized for her outlandish behavior.
She was arrested in 2002 for allegedly assaulting her roommate; the pal later changed her mind about pressing charges.
And last year, Rodriguez was sentenced to 180 days in a Los Angeles jail after breaking the rules of her probation stemming from an earlier driving under the influence (DUI) charge.
‘Lost’ Executive Producer, Carlton Cuse
Mr. Cuse’s career traverses a span of over twenty years as writer on Crime Story; creator, writer and producer of The Adventures of Brisco County and Nash Bridges, and most recently, writer and executive producer on the phenomenon that is known as Lost.
Mr. Cuse’s abilities are certainly not ‘lost’ on us, as he is indeed intrepid enough to don his life jacket and join us on this very special journey, via the TV Time Machine!
