Disney-ABC-ESPN Television continues to demonstrate a progressive approach to its VOD deals. The House of Mouse has announced a new deal with the Italian provider Fastweb that includes a dedicated interface for the international hit Lost.
NEWS BRIEF: UK digital terrestrial platform Top Up TV has agreed a library deal with Disney-ABC-ESPN Television that will add more than 400 hours of programming a year, including shows such as Lost and Ugly Betty.
Other shows to be included in the line-up are the first seasons of the ABC Studios series Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy and Ghost Whisperer. The deal was brokered by Disney-ABC-ESPN Television’s UK programme distribution manager Holly Blackham and new media distribution director Edward Humphrey, and by Top Up TV’s Dianne Walker.
