‘Lost’: Is it safe to talk about the finale in public yet?

Lostjackkate_l I’ve just been reprimanded twice for bringing up Lost. Five days after the finale. At Entertainment Weekly. And I hadn’t even watched it until last night! As soon as I said the word “Jacob” I got shushed with a wretched “AGGGGGH” sound effect and then an even harsher “Zip it.” Honey, please. My intended complete sentence was the exceedingly harmless “I’ve been thinking a lot about Jacob’s facial hair,” so get off my back.

Enough is enough. If you get spoiled at this point, I say you had it coming.

What’s the longest you’ve waited before watching a piece of major event television? Is it safe yet at your office?

I suggest reading some of the comments – some of them are funny!

‘Lost’: Josh Holloway, dude, it’s time to cash in on your awesomeness already!

‘Lost’: Josh Holloway, dude, it’s time to cash in on your awesomeness already!

If anything, last night’s season finale of Lost made two things crystal clear to me: (1) The show is coming to an end pretty soon, finally; and (2) Josh Holloway is definitely the best thing about Lost‘s top-notch acting ensemble. The show’s ending, game on!

Here an Interview with Francois Chau

How was your role on Lost first presented to you? Did you also think you were just Marvin Candle appearing once in an orientation film or did you know you would get a more important role later on?
I believed that the character “Marvin Candle” was just going to appear once in the orientation video. There was no indication that it was going to be anything more than that.

When you found out that your character would become more than just a narrator of orientation films, what was your reaction?
Of course I was very happy when my character broke out of the orientation videos. It was great to have some interaction with other characters.

ABC Wants Viewers to Feel Right at Home

After spending the last few years telling viewers to “Start Here,” ABC this week will begin telling viewers just where “here” is.

During its upfront presentation to advertisers Tuesday, the network will unveil a massive new on-air promotional campaign built around the concept of the ABC House. “Your favorite shows live here,” the network will tell viewers with the spots, which will feature a comedic tone and a wide assortment of ABC talent appearing in character.

“We want people to think of ABC as a place,” said Mike Benson, the network’s co-executive VP of marketing with Marla Provencio. “We want people to feel ABC is more of a home, a place where you and your family can gather.”
