Neither one of them will ever be able to go under lead actor because that position is already taken by someone. It may not be fair, but it's just something that Damon and JJ came up with when they created the show. Josh is not going to be lead actor anytime soon, therefore he will never be up for an award in that category. As far as Jack being boring this season or Josh being the better actor, well that's a matter of perspective and one that I don't agree with. The show wouldn't be the same without Matthew and Josh does nothing special for me. In fact, I thought Lafleur was one of the worst episodes this season. It was poorly acted and poorly written.
