I think for Cuse to make any sort of comparison is still sort of funny. Flight 815 was already at crusing altitude somewhere between 30,000 and 36,000 feet. Flight 1549 in New York was just minutes after take off and flying at a much lower altitude and even in Cuse's own depiction of the crash, 815 breaks up in mid air, never making a true water landing.
