LOST joke in “Four Christmases”

Just saw ”Four Christmases” today, and was surprised to hear LOST get subtly mentioned in the film!!!  :D   I won’t spoil anyone, but Vince Vaughn’s character references the show (not by name, so pay close attention) in a joke when asked why he doesn’t want to get married.  ;)

    Really? I saw the movie a few weeks ago, what was the joke? I cannot believe I missed it! :(

    It’s during the part where Vince and Reese are taking dance classes, early on in the film. Some of the engaged couples ask when they are getting married, and Reese says they aren’t. When asked why, Vince replies with a joke that references LOST, saying that he’d rather be on a weird Island getting hunted by a millionaire while trying to find rescue than make a commitment to marriage. ;)

    The millionaire being Widmore and finding rescue alluding to Jack and Season 3/4. :D

    No offense, but I don’t think it was a Lost reference. I think it was more along the lines of the short story “The most dangerous game”. The one with an eccentric billionare who hunts human for sport.

    yeah i agree with Fulton, i saw it last night and didn’t think of it as a Lost reference, although they did play backgammon and compare something to a plane crash later on in the movie, so who knows.

    i never got a chance to see Zack and Miri, but i believe it being Seth Rogen is a big LOST fan, remember the Matthew Fox interview joke in Knocked Up.
